Looking for a free Runna alternative?
Quality Days is for runners who want a real training plan, structured workouts on Apple Watch, and a clear view of what they actually ran against what the plan called for.
I built it because I wanted the plan, the workout on my Watch, and the run I actually did in one place. It’s free for now.
Start with a plan
Pick a plan, set your race day, and Quality Days lays the block out on the calendar. You can see what’s coming, move a workout when life gets in the way, and always know what the week is supposed to look like.
If you already know how you want to train, that’s fine too. Quality Days is meant to help you follow the plan, not replace it with a black-box coach.
Put the workouts on your Apple Watch
Allow Watch scheduling once and Quality Days can put the upcoming structured workouts into Apple’s Workout app. Warm-ups, intervals, recoveries and cool-downs can all be there at the paces you’re training at.
Right now, Apple Watch is the watch experience Quality Days is built around.
Then let your actual running fill the plan in
Your completed runs come in through Apple Health. When a run matches a planned day, Quality Days fills that day in automatically, so the plan stops being a list of intentions and starts becoming a picture of the training you actually did.
No second training log to maintain. No checking off workouts by hand.
Built because I wanted this myself
Quality Days started because I was tired of the plan living in one place, the workout on my Watch living somewhere else, and the run I actually did becoming another thing to reconcile afterward.
It’s early. If you try it, I’d genuinely like to hear what works and what doesn’t.
