Who we are
Quality Days is made by one independent developer. Contact: support@qualitydays.app.
Health data
With your permission the app reads workouts, routes, heart rate, resting heart rate, running power, sleep, heart-rate variability, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, distance and steps from Apple Health. It never writes to Apple Health.
This data is processed on your iPhone. Routes, heart-rate samples, sleep and other detailed health readings are not sent to our server and are not shared with anyone.
If you turn a permission off in iOS Settings, the app stops seeing that data.
Your account
The app creates an account for your device so it can sync. You can add a sign-in method (Apple, Google, or an email address and password) to use the same plan and history on another phone and to publish training plans.
We store: your account identifier; your email address and display name if you sign in; the training plan you follow and your race date; and a summary of each workout, meaning its date, distance, duration, type, average heart rate and a small set of derived figures. Published plans are stored with your display name attached.
Analytics
The app uses PostHog to understand onboarding, whether runners review their training, and whether they use plans. Events use a random installation identifier. When an account is available, events also include its database identifier, whether it is signed in, and its sign-in methods, such as Apple or Google. These identifiers let us relate product usage to an account without sending its name or email address.
App analytics include onboarding outcomes, the type of training screen reviewed, whether a plan is selected, and app version. No health measurements, workout details, routes, location, plan text, email addresses or authentication tokens are included. We do not record your screen, automatically track every tap, or use advertising identifiers. PostHog receives network requests, but geographic enrichment is disabled. Our server separately records account creation, plan application, workout sync and account deletion events using the account identifier. Analytics do not include workout contents.
This website uses Google Analytics to measure visits and download-button clicks. It sets cookies and Google receives your IP address. Advertising signals and personalisation are disabled.
Tracking
We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Service providers
Railway hosts our server and database. PostHog processes product events. Resend delivers account emails. Sentry receives crash and error reports. Apple provides WeatherKit forecasts and Mapbox provides map tiles, each receiving an approximate location for that request only. Google and Apple receive sign-in requests if you use them.
Retention
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Encrypted database backups are retained for up to 30 days. Crash reports are retained for 90 days.
Your choices
Delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. This removes your account and the data listed above from our server. Published plans are withdrawn and no longer carry your name. Data on your iPhone is removed by deleting the app.
To request a copy of what we hold, or to ask a question about this policy, write to support@qualitydays.app. We respond within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
